TD LinkUp supports entrepreneurs and artists to build businesses in the creative sector.

We build partnerships with orgs and communities and create customized networking events, workshops and collaborative initiatives aimed at increasing the diversity and scale of innovators and entrepreneurs working in the creative industries in Atlantic Canada.

Kjipuktuk Creative Entrepreneur Series - All Are Welcome

  • Oct 8, 7pm- Kjipuktuk Authors & Entrepreneurs Night

    Join us for a free event that creates a dedicated space and time for Indigenous creatives to connect, showcase their businesses and work, enjoy delicious food and music, and engage with Indigenous writers and industry professionals.

  • Oct 16 - Visual Arts, Music & Creative Entrepreneurism.

    Everybody is warmly invited to attend and participate in this event.

    Join us for food and connecting at 6pm, a filmed talk between Alan Syliboy and Jordan Bennett at 7pm, and networking with music at 8pm.

    All Indigenous creatives are invited to set up displays or vend, and will have time to talk on the mic about their work and business.

    Join our community of creatives, artists, professionals and entrepreneurs for our 2024 TD LinkUp wrap!

    Engage in meaningful conversation around the future of Indigenous creatives and entrepreneurship!

    Enjoy some amazing Indigenous catering while we learn from each other, celebrate, and explore initiatives that aim at supporting our collective future!

    Featuring a short panel discussion with leaders in the arts and business sectors, followed by a performance presented by Mi'kmaq Artist Emergence Program from Bear River First Nation (MAEP)

    6:30pm: Doors open
    7:00pm: Panel discussion featuring Chris Googoo, Bernard Burton, Carol Ann Potter.  
    8:00pm: Networking and with MEAP Indigenous youth artist performances
    8:50pm: Closing remarks

    If you are an Indigenous creative and would like to display or sell your products or creations, please select the Indigenous entrepreneur ticket, and we will make space for you to be featured.

Creative Connections meetup for fashion-based businesses.

Up and coming fashion industry businesses and creatives mingled with fashion industry establishment to connect, share strategies and ideas for growing the sector, and to have a great time.

The TD LinkUp Team worked with House of Soli to make these events come to life.

June 27th

The LinkUp team collaborated with Indigenous Futures Canada and Lunch in the Woods Consulting to host a gathering for creatives indigenous entrepreneurs. The event featured displays of creative entrepreneurs, elevator pitches, free head shots, and facilitated discussions on the opportunities and challenges facing Indigenous Creative Entrepreneurs.

Creative Connections - Meetup & Art Launch

On May 17, 6 artists, photographers and creative entrepreneurs showed their work in the lobby of the Light House Arts Centre. These featured artists spoke about their work, their journey, and 65 other creatives atttended to support and share their own work, plans, and goals.

Connections were made, art was celebrated, elevator pitches and collaborative intention was everywhere. What a night!

This event came together as a collaboration between TD LinkUp team, BATUO Inc and photographer Deji Majekolagbe.
