The Lemonheads continue the 30th anniversary celebrations of their breakthrough album, It”s A Shame About Ray, performing it in its entirety at the Light House Arts Centre in Halifax on Thursday, March 30. Special guest is The Novaks.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts and led by Evan Dando, The Lemonheads had multiple indie releases before making their major label debut with It’s A Shame About Ray. The title track and a subsequent re-issue, which included a cover of Simon and Garfunkle’s “Mrs. Robinson,” that was recorded for the 25th anniversary of the film The Graduate, cemented it as an alt-rock classic.
